Getting Started

How do I install TrialGuard?

Visit our Add to Browser page and click the button for your browser (Chrome or Edge). Follow the prompts to add the extension.

Do I need to create an account?

No! TrialGuard works without an account. Your trial data is stored locally in your browser. Create an account only if you want to sync across devices or get email reminders.

Which browsers are supported?

TrialGuard is available for Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge. Firefox and Safari support is coming soon.

Is TrialGuard free?

Yes! The free version lets you track up to 5 active trials. Upgrade to Pro for unlimited tracking and additional features.

Using TrialGuard

How does trial detection work?

TrialGuard monitors signup pages for common trial patterns. When you sign up for a free trial, it automatically detects and adds it to your dashboard.

Can I add trials manually?

Yes! Click the TrialGuard icon in your browser toolbar and select "Add Trial Manually" to enter trial details yourself.

How do reminders work?

By default, you'll get a browser notification 1 day before your trial ends. Pro users can customize reminder timing and get email notifications.

What are cancel recipes?

Cancel recipes are step-by-step instructions for canceling specific services. They're crowdsourced and verified to help you cancel quickly.

Billing & Pro

How do I upgrade to Pro?

Click the TrialGuard icon, go to Settings, and select "Upgrade to Pro". You can pay monthly ($3) or yearly ($25).

Can I cancel my Pro subscription?

Yes, anytime. Go to Settings > Subscription > Cancel. You'll keep Pro features until the end of your billing period.

Do you offer refunds?

We offer a full refund within 7 days of purchase if you're not satisfied. Contact support to request a refund.

Privacy & Security

What data does TrialGuard collect?

We only collect trial-related data (service name, dates). We don't track your browsing history or collect personal information. See our Privacy Policy.

Is my data secure?

Yes. All synced data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Saved credentials (optional) use AES-256 encryption.

How do I delete my data?

Uninstall the extension to remove all local data. If you have an account, contact support for complete account deletion.
